Not sure where to start?
We’ve designed Brush Better to be easy as possible to use. Watch the video below to get going and see how it works. Or click the top right cog when you’ve started the app and click ‘Start Tutorial’ to start the interactive tutorial. The video is probably easier but you have to listen to a northerner!

Any questions?
The photo is upside down / the wrong way round!
Take the photo with the home button to the right (for Apple devices anyway). If it’s a presaved photo you might need to rotate it before hand in your device’s image editor.
What type of devices does the app work on?
Phones, tablets and desktop computers.
iPads are probably the easiest and work the best – they have big screens and work really well and don’t resize the app much! iPhones work well too, but be aware the top bar will show from time to time so keep it in check by dragging it back down.
Do Android devices work / supported?
We’ve only got Apple devices to test these on but it should work on Android – if there are any bugs please let us know but it can be tricky to fix without having any android devices!
Can I print straight away? How can I print from my phone?
If your dental surgery has wifi, and also has a wifi enabled printer (even if it is connected via USB already) then you can connect the printer to the router via wifi and enable ‘AirPrint’. More information here.
Not sure if there is an android equivalent but hopefully that works too!
Can I change the colours of the brushes / orders i.e. vision brushes?
We’ll need to knock up a custom solution for you. Please contact us.
Do the images get uploaded? Is there is privacy risk?
The images do not leave your device and no images at all get uploaded to the server. The app will work with no internet connection after loading. So there is no worry of any breaches of privacy!
What about iCloud/Google drive etc – if photos are taken on my phone/tablet will they be at risk still?
Any image taken via the app is not saved to your cloud / device at all – just loaded temporarily into the device’s browser window- so there is no risk of any photos being uploaded to your own cloud.
